When people think of long-term care they usually think of living in a nursing home. The types of long-term care insurance that we offer all have provisions for in-home care which enables you to stay in your home for as long as possible.

If you have had to be the caregiver to someone who has become unable to care for themselves you know first hand that the cost of care is not just financial, but emotional and physical as well.As Americans live longer, more and more of us will need some sort of long-term care, and it can be incredibly expensive.  Today, the cost of nursing home care averages about $62,000 a year nationwide, and the average patient stays for 2.4 years -- for a total cost of about $148,000, according the AARP.

Statistics show that at least 6.4 million people aged 65 or older need long-term care, with one in two over age 85 requiring care. At least half of the population who are 85+ will need help with Activities of Daily Living.*

Help is needed when someone can no longer independently carry out essential everyday activities like eating, bathing, dressing, etc.  Most people only think of long-term as something only older people need, but accidents or illnesses can strike at any age, and long term care can protect you when you need it.

Long Term Care Insurance can provide you the security you need for the uncertain future.
